Hi I’m struggling to fine a stylus for iPad 5th gen 2017
i know they weren’t made for palm rejection or something on some of the other old threads I’ve read
people have suggested adonit and zagg etc but when I look them up they don’t say iPad 5th gen! Just on
air or mini etc
any help would be greatly appreciated and possibly a link?

The iPad5 fundamentally does not support Apple Pencil. This and older models of iPad lack the specific screen hardware with which an Apple Pencil interacts with the iPad. As the iPad5 does not support Apple Pencil, it similarly does not support the alternative Logitech Crayon or Zagg Stylus Pro.
You might consider a basic capacitive stylus, but this offers no more capability than a fingertip.

Sorry, they capacitive stylus that I’m seeing don’t say they are compatible with this iPad
The only potential benefit of a capacitive stylus might, for a fine tipped version, offer slightly more precision in placing a touch on the screen.
So any capacitive stylus would work with my model?
There’s no reason to assume that a capacitive stylus wouldn’t work. The only way to be sure is to try.
