'Text Replacement' Synch Between Devices & Apps

Has Apple made an option to disable 'text replacement' on a per-device basis yet?

(without requiring iCloud synch of 'Documents & Data" to be turned off)

This needs to be addressed, at the very least with an option to disable it on a MacBook while allowing it to remain active on mobile devices where it's needed most.

Further, 'text replacement' could be made customizable for each device. Shortcuts & custom dictionary/spell-check items can still be useful when typing up a professional document on a laptop but it most cases, they would differ quite a bit from what you would need in the context of a text message.

Taken one step further, a toggle could be made available for each app in Settings - and not just the native Apple apps. Customized text replacements in one app may be completely inappropriate for others.

It's ridiculous for all devices/apps on an Apple account to be forced into the same keyboard settings without sacrificing 'Documents & Data' iCloud synch.

So my question is:

Has Apple done anything to address this since this issue was brought up? (I see archived questions of people having the same problem several years ago)
