mute phone call from Apple Watch

I often use the mute feature while on a call. It's easy enough to use the button on the phone but I would like to also have the option to mute via my Apple Watch.

to be clear, I don't want to transfer the call to my apple watch - talking via the watch sucks. I talk via my AirPods but I want a quick-to-reach mute button on my Apple Watch.

there is a 'phone' app on the watch - I want it to have a 'mute' button. right now it only has one button to hang up.
