My AirPods don't work because I changed my Apple ID

I changed Apple ID (the previous one was xx@icloud.com) and now xx@gmail.com (not relevant), and my AirPods are connected to the old Apple ID, I checked and saw for to connect them to the new one I need to remove the AirPods in Find my, but I already deleted Apple ID that they are connected to (delete the previous one! Now they don't work for me, what should I do? Thanks anyway

Hello itslihu,

Thank you for reaching out to Apple Support Communities, and we'll be happy to help in any way we can. We understand you're having issues with connecting to AirPods associated with a deleted Apple ID. If the connected Apple ID has already been deleted, there wouldn't be a way to access them. You can find information about this here: How to delete your Apple ID account - Apple Support

"When your Apple ID account is deleted, your account details and the data associated with your Apple ID are permanently deleted from Apple’s servers. You can't sign in to your account, and you won’t be able to access any data, content, or services that were associated with your Apple ID.

  • Make sure that you sign out of all your devices to avoid issues with apps that use your Apple ID account or iCloud. After your account is deleted, you can't sign out of iCloud or turn off Find My iPhone Activation Lock on your devices. If you forget to sign out, you might not be able to use your device when your account is deleted."

We hope this helps.

Cheers!
