iPad Numbers extremely slow and conflicts in split screen mode since update to iOS 16.2

I use a 5th generation 12,9 inch iPad Pro with iOS 16.2

By the way I already re-installed the accompanying latest Numbers version.

In split screen mode it is quite often not possible to switch typing from another application to Numbers select a cell and change/add data in the cells. Numbers crash regularly.

I also experience a slow reacting Numbers when I use it in full screen mode.

Anyone else experiencing the same?

If you have not already done so, follow the suggested steps on this page: If an app on your iPhone or iPad stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open - Apple Support. This page provides details for completing the following steps designed to get your apps responding correctly on your iPad:

Closing and reopening the app
Restarting your device
Checking your device for updates
Delete the app, then redownload it - (Which it sounds like you've already done.)

If the app is made by Apple or came with your iPhone or iPad, contact Apple Support for your iPhone or for your iPad.
