Delete unwanted keywords containing typos from Photos database?

I would like to delete unwanted keywords containing typos from my Photos database.

I have a 2020 Macbook Pro running Monterey 12.6. I have keywords in my Photos database that contain typos. They continue to popup as options to select in the KEYWORD field when I am adding info to my image (e.g. title, face, etc). I would like to remove these unwanted, misspelled keywords permanently. How can I do that?

Happens to me all the time. I want to say "Theater" but hit return early and get "The." Iratating!

Command-K brings up the Keyword Manager. At bottom is Edit Keywords. Select one of those typos and hit Delete. It may tell you there are 3 pictures with "The" for keywords (instead of "Theater,") so you have to decide if you want to delete it. I sometimes make a Smart album with Keyword = is = The to find those and make sure they also say Theater before I delete "The"

There are a bunch of good things you can do with the Keyword Manager. Shortcuts, for instance....

Worked like a dream - thanks! I totally agree about use of keywords, which is why I use them. Just couldn't get rid of ones with typos.

I had searched for KEYWORD MANAGER under VIEW per Yer_Man's recommendation and did not find it. Your Command+K option was the key. (I subsequently found KEYWORD MANAGER listed under WINDOW, not VIEW.)

Also of note, for anyone who reads this string and is curious, I am using Photos Version 7.0.
