How do I delete the NFL app I recently downloaded? Also, was there a cost for that? Thanks.

If you are talking about this app, NFL app is a free app with Offers In-App Purchases, and requires iPadOS 13.0 or later.

Looks like you can't use the app on your iPad.

Or do you have a 'newer' iPad?

All the NFL apps I can see are subscription based. Merely downloading them shouldn't have cost you anything. Did you subscribe? If so, you'd need to cancel the subscription. You'll see a prompt for that when you delete the apps. But, here's more information.

Samsung is notorious for adding "bloatware" you can't remove.

You are allowed to delete any app you've downloaded from the App Store.
