Problem on TV

This movie works fine on the computer but freezes when I try to watch it on TV. I will try and replace it and see if it works. Is there something else I should do?

Hey RobCaughlan,

It looks like you're coming from the article: Share or export your iMovie project - Apple Support

That would have the best information on exporting a movie to watch on another device.

If that's not working as expected, we'd recommend providing some additional details about the situation.

Is this an iMovie project that you're having the issue with?

How are you playing it on your TV? Is it being streamed, cast, or downloaded?

What type of TV are you using?

Do you have other TVs you could test the movie with?

Thanks!

Please Provide a Screenshot or Photo:

What do you see on the screen? any error messages? Or is the screen just black? A screenshot, or a photo, would most certainly help. Go Here: Take a screenshot on your Mac - Apple Support. IMPORTANT: Blank out any persona information(i.e. names) from the screenshot/photo, but covering them with red rectangles.
