Cisco Jabber cannot connect to the server- MacBook Air M2

Hello,

I have installed, removed, reinstalled Jabber 14.1 several times now.

It keeps automatically bringing up my username already prepopulated and won't connect to the server. How do I kill Jabber off completely so I can start from scratch entering server info? Deleting the app, emptying the trash, and restarting doesn't do the trick.

MacBook Air, macOS 13.1

If you want to remove all Jabber files and start over from scratch download and use AppCleaner

WARNING: If you use AppCleaner on an app that you have other apps from the same developer, like Adobe, you must be extremely careful checking all checkboxes and deleting.  Some for those files may support other apps from the same developer and deleting them can mess them up.  Adobe apps is a primary example. I know from experience.  For singular apps from a developer it's safe.

It works very well as long as you heed the warning above. You can decide not to delete the app itself and just remove all of the supporting files and try starting from from there.
