Having white screen defective screen issue Apple Watch Series 6 after warranty period

What can be done?

My - out of warranty - Apple Watch series 6 44mm screen has gone into the white screen issue, that plagues this model!

One thing is for the battery to slowly die out, as years go by, but suddenly for the watch to stop working - with a known defective issue - and to have no recourse doesn't feel right.

Help!

Dear Apple,

I am writing to bring to your attention a serious issue that I have encountered with my Apple Watch Series 6 44mm. Unfortunately, my device is now out of warranty, but I believe that this is a defect that should be addressed by your company.

The issue that I am experiencing is the white screen issue that plagues this model. One day, without any warning, my watch simply stopped working and displayed a white screen. I have done some research and discovered that this is a known issue with the Apple Watch Series 6, and that many other customers have experienced the same problem.

I understand that as technology evolves, some issues may arise with certain products. However, I believe that it is not fair for customers to be left with a non-functioning device, especially when the problem is a known defect. I have been a loyal customer of Apple for many years and have always been satisfied with the products and services that your company has provided. However, this experience has left me feeling frustrated and disappointed.

I am hoping that you will take my concerns into consideration and provide a solution for this problem. I believe that it would be in the best interest of your company to address this defect and offer a replacement for affected customers. This would demonstrate your commitment to customer satisfaction and the quality of your products.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

P.S. I hope this situation will be resolved to my satisfaction and the satisfaction of other customers with the same problem. And I really appreciate if you would replace my out of warranty Apple Watch 6 series.

There was a replacement service program but it says the 40mm, which yours isn’t. It might have been denied free service even if it was less than 2 years old. I don’t really know how it works or worked.

Apple Watch Series 6 Service Program for Blank Screen Issue

I’m sorry this happened with your watch. Understandably it’s an awful thing to have happen. There isn’t anything we can do to assist. We aren’t customer service and don’t work for Apple. The only recourse might be to pay for a repair.

Find an Apple Authorized Service Provider.

Sorry about that.

Resetting it does not fix it. Basically, it "resets" and then screen goes back to "blank".

As I have read, this is an issue that has plagued the series-6 and there was a replacement program (watches with less than two years of purchased) as mine is 2 years and 4 months ... it seems destined to fail and become waste, which does not feel ok.

Therefore, from day-1, my watch had this intrinsic and known manufacturing defect, that shouldn't have been there. So, not through normal use and wear, it was deemed to be rendered useless. This does not seem right.
