Apple TV A1469

Hi everyone … question about my Apple TV …. Owned this for quite a few years now and only use it to stream photos from iPhones and MacBooks at home …. Just wondering if it’s possible to add apps and update it a bit more …. It doesn’t get used that much and just gathering dust in the media room .

That's a third generation model. It's not capable of accessing the App Store or being updated past 7.9.
