Can’t delete mail storage

my storage on my phone is taken up by my mail. I still have the app and I’ve gone in and deleted the mail from the app, but I still have it stored in my iCloud. I want to get rid of it because I have no more storage left on my phone, but I don’t know how.

Persistent Mail App Storage The Mail app is taking over 30 GB of storage on my phone. I want to delete the app and all its data to free this storage. I have tried deleting the app from the Home Screen and in Settings > General > iPhone Storage. No matter what, the app still shows up in storage (though not accessible), taking just as much storage, just with the cloud symbol next to it. I have logged out of iCloud and restarted my phone at every combination of before during and after deleting it; there is no difference. While the Mail app was on my phone, I deleted all accounts in Mail settings and the app showed no accounts in it. I have seen others suggest going to Apple ID > iCloud > iCloud Storage and deleting Mail cloud storage but, while all the other apps have menus where I can "Disable and Delete", Mail does not. The same is not the case for other preinstalled apps I have deleted; they no longer show up in storage. The only thing I have not tried is entirely resetting my phone. While I am fairly sure this would work (it has for others) I am not willing to endure the collateral damage to all the other data and settings on my phone. There should be a way to delete this data directly and it would greatly impact my usability of my phone. This wasn't an issue until a couple months ago. Nothing should have changed.

Delete stored email data on phone 11 pro This question has been asked loads. how do i delete my mail data that is stored on my phone. I have tried deleting all the emails. I have even deleted my email accounts there was no change either. It’s says there is still 9gb in my storage. Which it can’t as I don’t have any emails left on my device. Sorry for the rant. This is so frustrating. Thanks in advance. 🫣😀

How to delete Documents & Data when deleting Mail app? I have the same issue as was posted here. But the recommended steps do not work. I want to delete all of the Documents & Data from the Apple Mail app. Currently the Documents & Data take up over 3GB of space. The steps I've followed to remove the Documents & Data are: Gone to Settings > Mail > Accounts. Selected the account (Gmail account). Turned off mail. Clicked "Delete Account" Clicked "Delete from my iPhone" Deleted the Apple Mail app from my phone. Restart iPhone. When I go to the iPhone storage is still shows "Mail" without the typical Apple Mail app icon with over 3GB of space being used. How do I delete this data to free up this 3GB of space?

Which account email that you are referring to Google, iCloud, AOL, Exchange, Outlook, Yahoo or any Other?
