Paint coming off iPhone

Wow, I‘m so done with apple. They gave me a response to that issue. I should pay around 600€ (incl. tax) to fix that. Their own warranty and EU customer laws really didn’t bother them. Buying a 1500€ phone with obvious failures and issue regarding their paint and than this reply. Wow apple, just wow.

I really think that Apple will update this in there new version of iphone, they might not be interested in resolving these issues, else they provided some solution. I am also facing same issue in my iPhone 14 but there is no answer from company stores.

I’ve had my iPhone 14 pro space black for about a month and a half now and it’s been in a case since day two as I had to wait for a case to arrive other than that it’s been in different cases and the other day I noticed a bit of the paint on the back of the phone has come off like what on earth? Glad to know I’m not the only one with this issue

Apple does not cover cosmetic damage or flaws because it is already knows that their coating quality is totally unacceptable to any customer so it chooses to hide behind a disclaimer! Well done Apple!!

I got my phone for my 16th birthday, mum got it from office works and it’s an iPhone XR, there are parts sticking up which means the paint is coming off or it’s chipped there are slight bumps in the phone but other than that it’s ok, I also don’t know why the phone is off balance and not laying flat on a surface when the phone is out of the case, can anyone answer that question about why iPhones don’t stay balanced when they are out of the case?

I didn’t visit Apple yet, first of all I wanted to make a searching between users. So, based on this discussion I will visit Apple and I will try to escalate it. More users will be better….

Just spoke with Apple. Basically told me I was out of luck and on my own. Kind of a joke when you spend so much on a phone.

I have the same issue. Phone is in a case since day one. Even the case is cleaned weekly. So this is ja pretty bad joke.
