Paint coming off iPhone

Yep it happened on my 13 pro and my 14 pro. Apple refuse to accept this is a manufacture problem. Which actually makes me feel like going back to android.

its been less than year. So why it is not covered under warranty because it is not customer fault it looks like a flaw ?

Before I even touched the iPhone when I opened the box I noticed on the left side on the bezel the paint was missing. I brought to Apple that day and they said they couldn’t do anything for me.

That’s why we need to get enough people together to use a no win no claim company to take this on otherwise apple won’t change or own up to it

Pointless. They simply ask you to speak to apple care straight away. For me they didn’t even examine my IPhone 14 Pro Max. When I called the Apple care they said it’s not covered that’s it……

Apple doesn’t need to examine your phone because paint peeling and chips is a well known issue to them.

Today, I visited Apple premium reseller (In Czech republic we don’t have official Store). The result is bad, because they don’t know this issue and they refused to solve it….

It’s a ridiculous desicion…cosmetics!? It was the reason why I bought this phone -> design and quality! I don’t want to iPhone 14 Pro with cosmetics issues!

They obviously have problem with process or quality of painting and they want to cover it and don’t want to a make precedens. Current Apple quality is worse than before…

ive had the same issue yet a pretty huge part of the paint came off in the corner of the phone that looks not that great i got the phone like a week ago and its been in its case since then and it just somehow been coming off

I have the same situation and reading the comments I'm pretty sure that will be a lost of time if I open a case with apple. Any positive experience getting a replacement or cosmetic fix from apple anyone? Or any special case you recommend (not the leather from apple since I'm using that one and I have the issue), I also want to know is someone have installed a screen protector of the kind "360 protection" and if this have helped in some way?

Hello everyone, I have the same problem with the space black iPhone 14 Pro Max that was bought new 5 months ago. I started to notice small spots of peeling paint on the frame of the phone, especially in the area of ​​the speaker. The phone has been with a case since day one, has not been dropped or hit in any way. I had it before iPhone X for almost 5 years without any peeling or hitting.

i have just noticed the same issue with my new iPhone 14 pro max. the phone was in the case all the time, and the spot just appeared.

Is this a manufacturer issue or something? Can the phone be replaced to a new one under the warranty?

Um I’ve never had to put a separate protective cover on the camera lenses on any iPhone I’ve ever owned, so how is that common sense??

& you clearly didn’t read to comprehend. I never said I was mad at Apple for the self-inflicted damage. I’m mad at the fact that I don’t have any repair/replacement options considering that I have insurance. But carry on.

I’m having the same problem as all of you guys, protective cover since came out of the box. They don’t want to take responsibility, and with this undervaluing our iPhones if we want to trade them or sell them. We are losing in both ends

I recently bought iPhone 14 and it’s not even a month and my iPhones colour started peeling off , I’m real not happy with this , I was a android user and recently switched to iOS and this what I’m getting for selecting iPhone , I thought iPhone are durable and have qualities in it but this colour peel off making me think , if I’m selected something wrong ? Not happy 😞 please help team Apple if you can
