You have an iPhone 14 Pro and it is still covered under Apple's 1YR Limited Warranty (US). Take advantage of it and have your iPhone examined at the Apple Store or at an Authorized Service Center for further diagnosis and a resolution.

At this point even though I have a little bit of paint coming off my iPhone 14 Pro Max, I’m going to keep it only because I spoke with somebody at T-Mobile concerning the iPhone 15 and all the problems it is having I just assume wait until next year, maybe Apple will figure it out with the iPhone 16. As far as I’m concerned at this point, if there’s a little bit of paint coming off the phone that is fine the point of the phone is to have it worked properly and Apple’s not gonna do anything concerning cosmetics on the phone that’s not really covered under any type of warranty, so for all those people that are having an issue with the iPhone 14 Pro Max in a little bit of pain coming off be patient wait till next year maybe they will figure it out because I knew the iPhone 15 had an issue with discoloration on the titanium, but I had no idea it had an issue with overheating and that’s something my carrier told me about Hang in there everybody I’m sure they’ll have it figured out by next year

No phone manufacturer covers cosmetic damage. Actually most consumer brand manufacturers don’t cover cosmetic damage so to imply that Apple doesn’t cover it specifically because the quality is unacceptable is false. So far I have never experienced the chipping and peeling that people post about every year (and I have upgraded every year except for the year of the 13 series…although I did get my son the 13). We’ll see if the 15 Pro Max continues the streak for me. I like many keep my phone in case and I do take it out of the daily case at least once a week to put it in a folio case and then switch it back later that day so I’m somewhat surprised I haven’t had the issue.
