You cannot disable that function. The Green dot represents that a Camera or a Camera and the Microphone is in use on your iPhone. This is done to make you aware as a security feature.

Try turning off the camera permissions in the privacy settings… and if the same problem persists try restarting your iPhone….. I was experiencing the same issue … hope this will help you … thanks

I found the only way to stop it to delete your apps and reinstall don’t give permission or access once u do so🤷🏾♂️ worked for me

I have the same issue but if I restart the phone seems to be OK. However, after a given time starts to light again continuously.
I cannot restart my phone each time when I observe that the green light does not turn off.

so the green light indicates one of the apps you allowed, in signing off your privacy is recording your camera.. the BIG question- after going into settings to TURN OFF all camera access to your phone, the green light still comes on.
