XDR Pro Display - Local Dimming Issue

Hello,

I have just purchased one of these and I'm having a very odd issue. I suspect it might be related to the way local dimming is working and I suspect Apple did this to try to "fix" the blooming issues.

If I work on a completely black background, the mouse will basically dim to where sometimes it is difficult to see. All contrast is lost until I move the mouse near anything that is not black, then dimming turns on properly and it looks fine.

I've taken two images with the same camera at the same angle. You can see that the mouse pointer looks completely different if I'm on a black background vs near something that is white.

This happens with every mouse pointer regardless of the software.

Has anyone experienced the same issue?

Is there a possible fix?
