Black Screen But it lights up.

Hello apple community, my iPhone XS has been in some trouble. A day before this message, the phone fell into some water. Nothing happened until later in the day it started have excessive ghost touches. It would not shut down and I had to let it ghost click until the battery drained. Today, I charged it but the excessive ghost touch was still there. I started researching about It but could not find anything useful. Now the iPhone will not show anything. It has not shown anything not even the apple logo. I plugged it into my Mac and got it into recovery mode, the finder app said it had problems and updated the iPhone. Yet no sign of life. It does light up the screen when I press the power button. It also vibrates and I can hear sound. If anyone has a solution please let me know, I have thought of a faulty screen but wanted to ask the community incase I do not need one.
