Downgrading macOS on iMac
Trying to downgrade OS on iMac from Monteray to Sierra. Error message when installing "Error occured during installation. Try again." Tried 3 times. What's going on and soluition?

I'm flattered that you think I'm computer savvy enough to know how to "erase the drive to MacOS Extended Journaled"....but I am not.
Would you line out for me the steps that I need to follow for that procedure?

APFS format won't work for Sierra.
FWIW, it doesn't make much sense to downgrade a supported version of macOS to a version that is no longer supported. Is there some compelling reason you would want to?

Good question. I want to be able to work in and open previous inDesign and Photoshop Element files. This will be my backup computer as well as being used for those applications.
