Multiple Down Times - Parental Controls

is there any update or ideas when multiple down times will become available as a parental control? It looks like this has been asked for several years but I’m not seeing updates? I want my daughter to take her new phone to school to call me but not be able to watch TV. But I also want it shut down at bedtime so she isn’t up all night. It looks like remembering a manual shutdown of screen time every night is my only option?! This seems like a HUGE feature missing. I would love this one asap!

Hello JayBloch,

Apple does offer quite a few ways to personalize the restriction settings on a child's device. If you haven't done so already, you can look over the information on this page: Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support. This page offers information on how to change the following restrictions on your child's iPhone:

      1. Set Content & Privacy Restrictions
      2. Prevent iTunes & App Store purchases
      3. Allow built-in apps and features
      4. Prevent explicit content and content ratings
      5. Prevent web content
      6. Restrict Siri web search
      7. Restrict Game Center
      8. Allow changes to privacy settings
      9. Allow changes to other settings and features

You can also find more information on how to manage these settings here: Set up Screen Time for a family member on iPhone - Apple Support.

If you do not see the specific settings you're looking for listed, you can let Apple know directly here on their Feedback page: Product Feedback - Apple.

Best wishes!
