Website and links not loading

When i go to some Websites on Safari the content flips away from graphics, and leaves text only. I can’t access website links or forms.

This was especially inconvenient when I was trying to sign up for a Covid test at Walgreens. I wasn’t able to do it on my phone. It also happens whenever I try to get into the LMS for my school. I can access it on my iPad and on my laptop, both Apple products — all of them are linked to the same account.

The same thing was happening on my iPhone 8. I bought this phone thinking it wouldn’t happen, but it’s happening again.

Hey ellenfromnorthbrook,

We'd recommend reviewing the information in this article as it provides steps to help with Safari issues on iOS: If Safari isn't loading websites or quits on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

"Connect to a different network

Try to load a website, like www.apple.com, using cellular data. If you don't have cellular data, connect to a different Wi-Fi network and then load the website.

If you're using a VPN (Virtual Private Network), check your VPN settings. If you have a VPN turned on, some apps or websites might block content from loading.

Restart your device

Turn off your device and turn it on again.

Clear website data

You can clear website data occasionally to improve Safari performance.

  1. Go to Settings > Safari.
  2. Tap Clear History and Website Data.
  3. Tap Clear History and Data to confirm.

Turn on JavaScript

Turn on JavaScript if it's not already on.

  1. Go to Settings > Safari > Advanced.
  2. Find the JavaScript feature.
  3. Tap the button to turn on JavaScript."

If that doesn't help, you may want to test with another web browser. It's possible that the websites have compatibility issues with Safari.

Thanks!
