installing excel update on Imac has frozen and won't quit but just hangs

I want to stop the autoupdate which seems to have frozen but also unable to quit from it or turn it off. I'm using a current excel software and licensed etc.

iMac 27″, macOS 10.15

Macbook pro M1: Ms Excel very slow performance and keeps crashing regularly I have been using Mr Excel on my macbook pro M1. but MS Excel keep hanging and crashing regularly. the excel file is not big, about 200+ records very frustrating at least. in combination with auto save it is even worst. I keep loosing Data. this is the worst thing ever. Instead of doing my core business activities i'm continuously trying to fix excel I have even tried to copy one tab of the file to a new Excel document and removed functions and formulas. But the performance remained the same. Next step is to reinstall Ms. Office. but I don't believe it will solve the problem I software version is updated OS version Monterey version 12.6 Excel Version: 16.65

Why the QuickBooks is crashing with the new updates? QuickBooks Desktop r1 2023 update is worse than its other versions as it crashes again and again. It has been 3 days in continuation and I can't still open my company file in QBDT. It crashes and when I called to Intuit support they told me that this problem can only be resolved by Apple. Can anyone guide me here, on how to fix the QuickBooks Closes unexpectedly in mac?

Please use Force Quit to shut down the process.

Welcome!

If the Mac isn't responding, you may need to force a shut down by pressing and holding the power button.

Please restart the computer in Safe Mode and then restart normally.

I've quit the update as well as shut down the computer. I just can't get rid of it for some reason.
