Apple’s green text messages and non ADA compliance

When will Apple fix the green to white text contrast for text messages from non-Apple devices? I know they can, and it seems like it’s ignored on purpose to deter use of standard text messages in lieu of iMessages. Yes, the contrast in settings can be changed, but everything else is perfectly fine. This is such a small fix, yet Apple has never fixed it. Why is that? Sometimes I have to squint to read those green Messages, and it’s nearly impossible for some family members to read them at all… and this is referring to all devices, not just iPhone.

I know you said it is a small fix but I have found that going to Settings > Accessibility > Display and Text Size then turning on Increase Contrast and Larger Text make the green text boxes much more readable. Look at the difference between your screen shot and mine. Of course you can always submit your feedback on this issue to Apple directly here. I understand this can be very important to some individuals.
