How can I change the Apple ID that I use for purchases; without losing access to the purchases made using a different Apple ID (with Family sharing)?
I need to change my purchase method which is associated with an older ID (I can’t remember the password & I’m having difficulty resetting it).

See Authorization vs. association - Apple Community for complications that can arise when trying to make use of two or more Apple IDs. While family sharing is a possibility you may have difficulties setting that up if you only have access to Windows and don't have access to the other ID. Try resetting your password at https://iforgot.apple.com/.
