Delete an app that's "open."

I am trying to delete Citirx Workspace from my computer and it's not allowing me to delete as it states it can't be moved to the trash because it's open. It's not open, Ive quit it and forced quit it and it's still saying I cannot delete it. I've tried deleting it from finder and from the launchpad and when I do it from the launch pad it doesn't even come up with an "x" to be deleted from. Any advise? Do I really have to install a third party to delete it? That sounds a bit ridiculous.
