I updated my iPhone 12 mini to iOS 16.2 and my wallpaper (the same as in previous iOS) keeps getting pixelated after a while. Resetting the wallpaper only works for some time, then it becomes pixelated again. Any idea how to fix this?

I’ve found a solution that works for me.
When playing music, the album art in the Lock Screen can be tapped to increase its size, when this happens, it blurs the background and for some reason the wallpaper stays permanently pixelated.
Once I tap the enlarged Lock Screen album art to make it small again, it fixes the pixelation.

If you want your solution to be widely useful we really need to know more about the environment, particularly as this is not a common complaint.

NB put your OS and iOS versions etc in the problem text box as the dropdowns are usually out of date.
The wallpaper worked with no issues on iOS 16, so it's not a matter of transitioning from iOS 15. Anyway, I downloaded the photo from my computer, and the wallpaper looks fine until it doesn't and becomes pixelated mess.
I'm afraid this advice is not helpful. The photo has a high resolution and only after a certain time does it become pixelated. From what I've noticed, it happens after the phone is connected to the charger.
I tried with different photos, they become pixelated on both Lock Screen and Home Screen. With blur turned off, all seems fine. At some point the wallpaper disappeared completely, but turning phone off and on again did the trick.

Interesting. Now that you mention the music, I tested mine. The wallpaper only gets pixelated while playing music. It doesn’t matter which music app either. Apple music, Pandora, and Amazon music all show pixelated wallpapers, then it goes back to normal when I exit them.

Creat new and start again
Use a better photo.
If it only does it with that photo then it is helpful advice - bad photo
If it does it with all photos then it is also helpful advice - something wrong with the phone
Come back after trying-
For anyone who also has this problem, deactivating blur stopped the pixelation. It's probably a glitch that needs to be fixed.
@kanya., thanks for your initial post and for posting the fix for the problem. I was experiencing the same issue and your resolution seems to have resolved the problem.

I just had the same issue. I’ve turned my phone off and on three times, and it keeps happening.

LD150, I did read it. The blur feature is not on, nor was it ever. None of the solutions fixed my issue.
