Where do pdf files go on an ipad

When downloading a file to your iPad, you may be presented with list of suggested Apps - and actions. If your select Save to Files, you can save the file to the path/folder of your choice. If instead you save the file to a specific App, the file may be accessed from the chosen App.

In some circumstances, a downloaded file may simply be saved to your Downloads folder. Your Downloads folder can be accessed using the Files App; you should find the Downloads folder in the sidebar.

If you know the name of the downloaded file, you can locate the file using the Files App. Type the name of the file in the Search box - seen at top-right of the Files App window.

If you downloaded a pdf on your device from the web it’s most likely in the files app under the downloads folder. Hope this helps!
