RGB Mechanical Keyboard wired to iMac USB

My question is simply, is it safe? It seems like these RGB keyboards draws a lot of power.

Wireless keyboard drain I have a three battery Apple wireless keyboard. Previously I used it with a 2014 Mac mini. The batteries would last a long time. When I recently upgraded to the M2 Mac mini, the battery drain barely took me through a week of usage. Any solutions?

Safe? Yes. Draw more power than a non-RGB keyboard? Probably.
