I have a three battery Apple wireless keyboard. Previously I used it with a 2014 Mac mini. The batteries would last a long time. When I recently upgraded to the M2 Mac mini, the battery drain barely took me through a week of usage. Any solutions?

Hav you tested with another pair of batteries to determine this wasn't a faulty set of batteries:
"Change the batteries in a wireless aluminum keyboard
Change the batteries in a wireless white keyboard

If the issue persists, can you provide a few more details? Have you tested with another brand of batteries? Also, do you turn the keyboard off when not in use?

Thank you for your response. I've tried all sorts of batteries with the same poor results. As I stated in my first e-mail, this and other wireless keyboards had very long lives, over three months, when I was using the 2014 Mac mini. I never even turned the keyboard off. It's only now that using the same keyboard, I lose all power in the keyboard within a week on my new M2 Mac mini.
