Re: How do I block unsolicited e-mail?

You may be able to block unsolicited mail in your account on your eMail provider's website: eg: Yahoo, GMail etc. (ie: before the eMails get to your iPhone).

Seems on iPhone we can only block eMails from particular senders:

"To block a sender, tap their email address, then select Block this Contact"

from Apple Support's article: Flag emails in Mail on iPhone – Apple Support

Else:

You might want to try filtering eMails to see if anything there works for you:

Filter emails in Mail on iPhone – Apple Support

or

Apple Support's article:

Block phone numbers, contacts and emails on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch – Apple Support

For the Messages app:

says:

"Filter messages from unknown senders:

You can filter messages from people who aren't saved in your Contacts.

To filter messages, go to Settings > Messages and turn on Filter Unknown Senders".

All the best :-)
