I'm about to switch to a new phone, so first I'm trying to back up the one I currently have. My phone has a problem where it freezes and restarts frequently (about once every half hourish) which means that every time I try to back it up, it restarts before it can finish and then the backup doesn't work. Is there a way to back up my phone even though it restarts? Or a way to stop the restarts?

You would need to troubleshoot the older iPhone and determine the root cause to why it continues to restart.
