Trusted Devices List vs Find My List

Hello,

I had my phone stolen, reported it lost and managed to erase it. The police had all the addresses it was tracked to but said they could do nothing and closed the case. Seems ridiculous. But I won't get this phone back. So I have some questions.

1) If I remove the phone from my list of trusted devices appleid.apple.com is it the same thing as removing it from the list of devices on Find My (https://www.icloud.com/find)?

2) If I remove the phone from my list of trusted devices on appleid.apple.com will I still be able to track it on Find My?

3) I've blocked the phone on my network and the IMEI number has been suspended. If I remove the phone from my list of trusted devices on appleid.apple.com will this unlock the phone and allow the theives to use the phone?

Thank you.

Don'ts

If the device is removed from an account after it is erased, Activation Lock will be turned off. This allows another person to turn on and use the device.

If you remove it from your account it will be a New Year's Gift to the thief!!

An example of my iPhone 5 is given in the GIF below. There is no "Undo" after you remove it from your account.

In other words, once removed from an account you can't add back.

Thank you!

I wonder; I'm not sure if the phone was ever erased though I requested it.

On Find My App (1st screen shot), it shows the phone with a trash can and a lock icon. It has changed and no longer says erase pending, which it did when I first requested it.

But on my list of trusted devices from icloud.com/find it still says something about erase pending. 2nd Screen Shot.

Is my phone erased? And what happens if I remove it from devices and it isn't erased? can they get my information (They do not have my password. They phished for it from me and all my emergency contact but no one put anything in.) I know not to remove from my list of trusted devices or Find My thanks to what you've written.

It makes me nervous to have it on my list of trusted devices. Trusted...it isn't. Since it was reported lost and erase requested, IMEI blocked on my network, and apple says without my password they can't get into it, is ok?
