Camera Connection Kit - where does the pictures SYNC to on the Windows 7?

Camera connection kit works great in importing my Nikon camera pictures on to the iPad. When i Sync to my Windows 7 PC, where does it sync the pictures to? i can't find them? in the description of the Camera Connection Kit in Apple Store, it said it'll sync the pictures onto either PC or Mac . but there's no instruction / direction where it is synced to. can someone tell me? many thanks!
