You can select the tablular data in your PDF financial table by clicking and dragging across it. Then copy to the clipboard. Open a new Numbers spreadsheet table, and click once on the cell (e.g. A1) where you want the PDF data to be deposited, and then paste and match style. This will only work if the PDF has no copy restrictions placed on it. I just tested this with a PDF opened in Preview and with Numbers v12.2.1 on Ventura 13.1.

And then for added expense, there is Adobe Acrobat DC Pro and Nitro PDF Pro, both of which should offer an Excel Spreadsheet export option. The latter application certainly does, but it is disabled in the free trial.

PDF is an electronic print & not really made to be edited. However, there are possibilities. I've had good luck with PDF to Numbers+. There is a free trial available on the developer's website.
