Using Kindle on my old iPad mini

I finally found a solution to this much asked question.

After receiving so many notifications that I could not download Kindle as it is not compatible with my old iPad mini, I did the following;

On the App Store, in my “Purchased”, on the top right hand side, I selected “iPhone Apps” instead of “iPad Apps”, and wow, it downloaded an older version, and I’m now reading Kindle on my 10 year old iPad mini.

What a breakthrough!!!
