I have recently upgraded to another iphone. Attempting to use my 11 for my hubby. It will not let me turn off find my phone. I have the correct password. I have removed it from my icloud account and anywhere else I can that it will allow me. I am just trying to erase it so I can use it for my hubby. I am beyond frustrated.

That means somehow it’s not “your” device in the view of Apple’s infrastructure. So it’s not clear whose device it is.

Since the device is in your possession, go to Settings > [whatever Apple ID appears at the top of the list] > Find My and turn it off there.

Turn off my find my iPhone even though it won't accept the correct password.
