Reinstalling iTunes latest version
PC Windows 10 /64 B with the latest updates.
iTunes quit working so I have been attempting to reinstall it.
After I uninstalled the previous version I ran into issues.
One error indicated me or another user used the MS Store iTunes app. So I "?successfully?" uninstalled it. I also uninstalled all iTunes related programs from the control panel.
During the reinstallation attempts, I kept hitting error walls such as:
"One or more users on this computer have installed iTunes from the Microsoft Store. All users must uninstall iTunes before this installation can continue". I am the only user other than "Public" and maybe "Administrator" which I am.
"The repair failed because some iTunes services are occupied. Please restart your PC and try again.". Complied with this also without success. I am not sure what "Services" need to be disabled so I have not pursued this.
I have followed all the instructions and steps referred to in many, if not all, links from Apple and other iTunes forums without success. If anyone has experienced these issues and have found a solution, your input will be appreciated.
OH... also while tackling this issue, I had/have downloaded and installed Apples "iMyFoneTunesFix". This program has never completed due to the above errors as well.
I am at Wit's end.
