Facebook game

This is a bizarre issue affecting a Facebook game I play along with thousands of other people who play the same game using their iPhones or iPads. Following an OS update several months ago, and I’m unable to pinpoint which OS update it was, all of us who play this Facebook game called Hit It Rich are no longer able to collect the free coins being sent to us via Facebook notifications. We all used to be able to simply click on the notification, and the game would open and award the coins. After that OS update, probably sometime in September, the only way to collect those coins now involves opening Facebook using the safari browser, something we didn’t have to do before. The issue only affects Apple devices. People who play on pc’s or android devices do not have this problem.
