Apple TV says continue on apple device, but won’t send confirmation.
Well, this question has been asked before, but since noone replied (what does Apple employees do these days?), I just reply myself in this new tread.
The answer is that you have to switch on Bluetooth on your device (Iphone or alike). For some reason, Apple decided that your Apple-TV needs to talk directly to your device through bluetooth. Being logged on to the same Apple ID account on both devices is probably important, but for some reason its not enough. It is also not well documented that this needs to be done since the Iphone/pod/pad won't ask you anything if Bluetooth is switched off.
