Apple ID Code

Hello, today I received a message saying, "Your Apple ID Code is ...... Don't share it with anyone". I haven't done anything or tried to sign in somewhere or change a password. I also keep getting Google verification codes. Do you know what this is or how to fix it? I really appreciate any help you can provide.
