I bought MacBook Air M1 2020, in December 2022 from USA. I am using the device in Mumbai, India. Would like to understand whether my device is covered under International Apple Warranty and the period for which it is covered.

Where did you buy it?
If it was from a reseller, the warranty may have already expired. Apple starts it when they sell to a reseller, so it depends when it was originally sold. If it was directly from Apple or an authorized reseller, you may be able to get the start date adjusted. If not, you may be out of luck. The original warranty is for one year.
