Apple Photos Shared Albums on iCloud.com

I have three shared albums in Photos. On each, I selected "Allow anyone to view this album on iCloud.com". One did exactly what I expected. It shows "Anyone can view this shared album at:. But the other two never show a URL and one of them even insists on unchecking the "Public Website" box.

Is the number of shared albums limited to one? What am I doing wrong?

Hi there rdarken,

If you are having issues using Shared Albums, first ensure you are following these steps from Set up Shared Albums in iCloud on all your devices:

Set up Shared Albums on your Mac
1. In the Photos app on your Mac, do one of the following:
• macOS Ventura: Choose Photos > Settings, then click iCloud.
• macOS 12 or earlier: Choose Photos > Preferences, then click iCloud.
2. Select Shared Albums.
3. To view shared albums on your Mac, open the Photos app, then click an album in the Shared section of the sidebar.

For more information on how to use Shared Albums on your Mac, see Create a shared album in Photos on Mac in the Photos User Guide for Mac.

If you are following these steps and this continues, then Apple Support would be the best equipped to look into this behavior further. Reach out using this link: Apple Support

Cheers!
