I Can No Longer Write to External Seagate HD's after upgrade to iMac 24

I have 2 Seagate external HD (4 and 5 TB), both used (Read and Write) on previous iMac 27 and MB Air 2020, both with Ventura 13.1. Both have plenty of space. Both state format is GUID Partitions with Disk Utility Info, but with Finder "Get Info", one reads NTFS and the other reads APFS formats. The 5TB drive states "You Can Only Read" with no "golden lock" and no names are listed (even the Administrator) and the 4TB drive states "Read and Write" with me as the administrator and the "golden lock" in unlock mode. I can read both drives, but can no longer write to them. While I am not a beginner to the Mac, I am not all that savvy, esp if your answers will require me to go into the terminal, etc, etc. Is there a simple solution short of trying to reformat?...and what is the cause? Thanks.
