what is the Speed of M2 chip?
Where have all the processor speed numbers gone?
I need 3 gig to run my cameras.

Check with the camera mfg to see if your device is compatible with the current macOS and/or Mx chipsets that Apple uses now.
I suspect the chips are irrelevant and the compatibility is rooted in the software... i.e. will the software talk to macOS 10.15 Catalina or macOS Big Sur, Moneterey or Ventura.

All microprocessors work by beginning a crystal vibration. I was wondering what the speed of the M2 crystal is.
I found it in other sources. It is 3.5 gHz. I understand the many cores shares computes, but they all still run at 3.5 gHz, or close to the 4 nm band gap I hear about now.
These are no longer disclosed by Apple because it’s one among many factors that affect performance. If in doubt, chose one with more cores.
Yes, the speed needed for my cameras is 3 gHz, so I have my answer from external source. 3.5 gHz, which will work.
I found it is 3.5gHz
For semi-conductors to work, there must be a crystal that vibrates. I was asking what the speed of the crystal is.
Disclosed or not, there is one.
