Where have all the processor speed numbers gone?

I need 3 gig to run my cameras.

Check with the camera mfg to see if your device is compatible with the current macOS and/or Mx chipsets that Apple uses now.

I suspect the chips are irrelevant and the compatibility is rooted in the software... i.e. will the software talk to macOS 10.15 Catalina or macOS Big Sur, Moneterey or Ventura.
