Remove GoToMeeting - running macOS Ventura

I've tried removing all components, but am still getting notices that it is loading G2MUpdate.

I followed the directions from a 2015 post here, but there seems to be more.

Thanks!

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 13.1

There seems to be some hidden leftovers that are causing background notifications to continue even after uninstalling gotomeetings.

Here is what you want to do....

open up terminal

"cd ~/Library/LaunchAgents" enter

"ls" enter

Here you should see a couple items named something like com.logmein.gotomeeting... blablabla..

you want to remove both of them by typeing "rm ReplaceWithNameOfTheFile.plist"

example..

"rm com.logmein.GoToMeeting.G2MUpdate.plist" enter

"rm com.logmein.GoToMeeting.G2MAIRUploader.plist" enter

hope this help..

Hi there d_in_metrowest,

If you are having issues uninstalling an app, let's first ensure that you are following the steps outlined here to do so: Uninstall apps on your Mac

Make sure that any standalone update apps are removed from the Mac as well. If this continues to occur, then we would recommend reaching out to the app developer to get further assistance on removing their app from your device as they would be the best equipped to guide you. Use this to connect with them: How to contact an app developer

Take care!
