The red lightning bolt is on and I cannot get the watch to turn off I tried both ways with the side button and Digital Crown

The red lightning bolt was not allowing me to move or see anything on the phone

Red lightening bolt means the Watch battery is completely drained. Until you can get it to charge don't try anything else.
