Hello, I noticed that on an old model 6 iPhone I can see the battery percentage on the screen without doing anything, but on a newer 12 model I have to scroll down to see it.
Is there any way I can have the battery percentage visible all the time?

IOS 16 has restored the feature that you are asking about. Your iPhone 12 can have that feature as long as you have iOS 16 installed on it. If you have updated your iPhone 12 to iOS 16.x then you can open Settings ➡️ Battery ➡️ Batterry Percentage: Set this switch to ON.
