Poor quality photos on iPhone 14 pro max

I just bought a new iphone 14 and the camera quality was worse than my mom's iphone 12! I've tried to clean it but nothing works. My camera only zooms up to 5x and my mom's zooms up to 10x! What the heck, my phone should be better!

I’ve had this iPhone 14 Pro Max for just over a year and Apple denies there’s a problem and refuses to fix it. Says the camera is good. What good is a terrific zooming, high resolution low light camera if you can’t depend on it to focus 1/2 the time!!?!?! How can we get this resolved?

SHAME on Apple for producing such a most inferior photo quality on their Pro 14 phones! I always notice that my friends take much better pictures with their much cheaper Samsung phones whenever we take pictures at the same location & same Lighting! SHAME on Apple! I want a Refund!!!

I went from an iPhone 11 Pro Max to a 14 pro based alone on the camera hype. I have been sorry ever since. Gonna approach Verizon and see if I can trade my 14 in for an 11.

I think you will be so glad once you do Samsung is such a superior product in every way the only thing apple has is that the phone automatically turns on when it’s dead and your charging it! I’m telling you just being able to use ok google your whole world will get easier by leaving Apple! It’s done me NO favors except for turning on my dead phone.

I noticed the same thing as soon as I got my phone! I called multiple time and Apple said there was no problem with the phone! Absolutely ridiculous! My husband got the pro and the quality of his photos are way better than mine. Normally we don’t upgrade our phones within a year but we will this year. I am a photographer and not being able to use my iPhone for photos is the biggest waste of money I have spent.

I was thinking is just me but after searching for sooooo many answears online i found that's actually the god **** camera, paid some good money for the 14 and i'm so dissapointed, i switched from an iphone Xs and i can say that the xs was better, especially the camera, my last apple phone purchase 👎🏼

I've changed from an iPhone 11 Pro Max to an iPhone 14 Pro Max. I was very excited on the day I bought the phone, and the first thing I tried was the camera. Well, I was instantly disappointed after I took a few shots. It literally felt worse. Considering the prices and all, this is unacceptable.

I might see what the iPhone 16 will bring to the table, but if it's the same story as with the 15, I will actually go over to the dark side (Samsung).

I finally had my breaking point today and had to google about this.

Ya, it’s absolutely horrible. Such a let down and an embarrassment considering how much we paid for this phone. I’m buying a pixel pro just for pics.

Me, too! My iPhone 8 took much better photos than my iPhone 14! Hugely disappointing, given the cost! When I use the telephoto, the distant shapes are crap. Can’t believe Apple did this!

Because of the poor processing done after you take the picture. It can't produce a decent photo on screen, so don't expect any print quality ones.

Me too! Wish I’d never traded my 11+ in for 14+. My BF’s 13 max is great.
