iPhone 13 oversharping camera

I bought the iPhone 13 back in last month of dec 2022, I thinking the camera was the best one yet, as Apple raved about its performance and high quality imaging. However, when I take a photo and when I go to review it in the photos app it automatically "edits" the photo to appear over exposed, over sharpened and overall it’s ruined the camera experience of me. Kindly address this issues ASAP.

Thank you🙂

Hello mohammedshoaib90,

Let's use the steps below to see if this behavior is related to the Photographic Styles feature:

1. Open Camera, then tap the Camera Controls button.
2. Tap the Photographic Styles button, then swipe left to preview the different styles:
• Rich Contrast: Darker shadows, richer colors, and stronger contrast create a dramatic look.
• Vibrant: Wonderfully bright and vivid colors create a brilliant yet natural look.
• Warm: Golden undertones create a warmer look.
• Cool: Blue undertones create a cooler look.
To customize a Photographic Style, tap the Tone and Warmth controls below the frame, then drag the slider left or right to adjust the value. Tap the Photographic Styles Reset button to reset the values.
3. Tap the Photographic Styles button to apply the Photographic Style.

To change or adjust a Photographic Style that you set, tap the Photographic Styles On button at the top of the screen.

You can also change Photographic Styles in Settings: go to Settings  > Camera > Photographic Styles.

You can also find those steps in this resource: Apply Photographic Styles with your iPhone Camera - Apple Support

Should that persist after checking on that feature, does this happen with all photos in multiple lightning conditions?

Do you experience the same behavior with videos?

How about if you take a photo using a different app?

Let us know, and we'll keep moving forward based on those details.
